Derzhava 2009 is organized by the Russian Public Chamber, Russkiy Mir Foundation and Unity for Russia Foundation with the aim of:

Mobilizing the intellectual potential of Russian society towards the development of a strategy and development tactic for the 21st century;
Attracting a wide range of Russia’s intellegentsia, young academics and specialists as well as representatives of the Russian community outside Russia;
